Commissions are OPEN.


I've been making icons for myself and friends and anons for years, so I thought I could finally try my hand at offering commissions in a more organised capacity.

• 1 Dreamwidth point per standard icon.
• 2 Dreamwidth points per icon made from excessively dark/low res/poor quality image sources (examples); they can be a considerable time investment to clean up because I edit them on an individual basis, not with premade templates.

Please send the points to this account either after I've confirmed your order or upon completion of it. I don't charge for variants (alternative crops/colouration of the same image). I do charge an additional image sorting fee of 50 - 100 Dreamwidth points if applicable. Sorry, but digging through galleries is time consuming, especially if I'm canon blind! Due to various factors (mainly time constraints) I'll no longer be offering image sorting services for the time being. Please provide your preferred images rather than linking to galleries, thanks!

No minimum or maximum icon amount, but for commissions of 100 icons or more I may opt to do them in smaller batches. If an image source's quality is too poor to work with I may have to skip it. On bigger orders I'll provide you with a few sample icons from your order to get your approval before completing the rest. If you're unsatisfied with any specific icons after completion of your order, I'll redo them free of charge (within reason, e.g. ~30 icons out of 100 — and please provide detailed feedback so I know what you specifically want changed).

Entirely depends on the size of your order and my current queue. ~15 icons might be a day or two, ~200 icons might be a week or more. Barring extenuating circumstances, I try to get things done within a week or so. I'll let you know if it's going to be longer. In the future I might limit my queue to no more than a couple people at a time to help ensure I can finish everything in a timely manner, but as I'm just getting started and I'm not sure of the demand for icons with so many other talented people making them, for now I'm seeing how things go.

Live action, video games, mobile games, animation, comics/manga, webcomics, your fanart, others' fanart if you have permission to use it, dollmakers like picrew, stock images, animal images, scenery/backgrounds, logos, NSFW of adult human/oids or monsters or furries (but no NSFW of children or regular animals). Ask if unsure.

AI generated images, non-fictional media (e.g. Youtubers, influencers, documentaries, etc.) with the exception of photoshoots, and I might turn down commissions for certain characters (mainly if I've already done extensive sets for myself/friends/as gifts/etc.); I reserve the right to turn down a commission for any reason.

Image legend

By default, I'll sharpen, brighten, and adjust the contrast. I might also clean up any artifacts if needed. Examples:

Colour correction. Examples:




Shift to warmer tones. This is useful for lessening green/blue/purple tints. Examples:




And cooler tones. This is useful for lessening red/orange/yellow tints. Examples:




Increase saturation. This will make colours more vibrant, and can help offset the washed out grey or brown look of some media. Examples:




Decrease saturation. If you prefer a more pastel look. Examples:




Full head (hair + expression) vs. forehead (focus on expression) crop. Unless you specify a preference, I usually default to full head or a mix of full head and forehead crops.

That worked! Is there an upper limit on how many icons you want beyond the 190 you chose yourself? And in the unsorted caps, is there anything in particular you want to have iconed for sure? Like certain expressions, gestures, outfits, etc... Just so I know what I should prioritise, if anything. By default I aim for a wide variety of expressions and to a lesser extent body language, especially if the character talks with their hands a lot.

No upper limit, whatever strikes your fancy I am happy to reimburse for!

Expressions that are flirtatious or irreverent would be great, or anything that shows her being kind of intense and unhinged, lol. Root more talks with her eyes than her hands if that makes sense -- she's speaking on the phone/bluetooth a lot in canon and they're some of her most important interactions.

These look amazing!!!! Thank you so much! I think I like the cropping a little more pulled out or off center where possible but that is minor :)

Aaand finished! I did something a little different with these and went lighter on contrast than I usually do because I think it looks better (especially with hair detail, that gets lost the higher the contrast is), but some may be too light or washed out-looking as a result. Just let me know if you want anything changed!

I went ahead and included the original icons I'd already finished before I adjusted the cropping to what you said, that's why the first 50 or so all have closer-up variants. There's a few I'm not happy with because of the lighting and I'm not sure how usable they are, so I'm just considering those freebies.

I'm so happy you like them! I don't charge for variants/recrops/ones I'm not sure are usable, so final count is 290ish. She's so expressive it could've easily been more but I had to cut myself off at some point. 😅 And 10 can cover the image sorting since I didn't have to spend too long searching through them, so does 300 points total sound fair?

Amy Acker is SO expressive and literally why I gave up combing through those last two episode galleries after doing all the rest, haha. I had to cut myself off, too.
